Kristine began working in the finance industry in 2002 with Edward Jones. She cut her teeth on estate planning and later earned the CFP® certification. She holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Thomas Edison University in New Jersey and a master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Missouri.

After 15 years in the industry, she created Kristine A. Boelte & Associates, LLC, based on her relentless commitment to her clients’ financial well-being. In 2020, Kristine received “the opportunity of a lifetime” and partnered with longtime friend and colleague Frank O’Hara. The two formed Boelte O’Hara Wealth Management the following year.

Kristine considers it a privilege to unlock the doors each morning knowing that she can continue creating a great experience for her clients and find ways to serve them better each and every day. She carries with her the strengths of each firm where she proudly served — she offers comprehensive financial planning, managed assets under a Registered Investment Advisory, and fixed income under Purshe Kaplan Sterling, the best broker-dealer she’s had the pleasure of working with.

Kristine has three amazing children. Two are grown, and her youngest is (thankfully) still at home, bringing joy and excitement to her life. They’re all physically active in their own ways, participating in different sports and outdoor activities.

Frank met Kristine Boelte while she was working for UBS, and that’s where their friendship began. In 2020, he decided to accept her offer — Kristine says Frank didn’t really have a choice — to partner in taking Kristine A. Boelte & Associates, LLC, now known as Boelte O’Hara Wealth Management, to another level.

Frank holds a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University. He has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams and holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance as well as property and casualty insurance.

Frank started his career in the financial services industry in 1987, educating other financial advisors, CPAs and attorneys throughout the country in retirement planning, income planning and legacy planning. In 2008, he left a successful practice to help his brother and some friends launch a new family of electronically traded funds. In 2011, he was offered a unique opportunity with Verisign and decided to pursue another path, leaving financial services to help build a sales and account management team in the technology space for Verisign. And in 2019, Frank returned to financial services and developed an exciting and unique practice at Pacer Financial, helping client de-risk their portfolios.

Frank lives in Sterling, Virginia, with his wife, Heather. They have three wonderful children, Brenden, Aidan and Megan, and one granddaughter, Spencer. Frank enjoys spending his time with family and at his children’s activities, including wrestling, golf, swimming and volleyball. A lifelong runner, Frank also enjoys golf and loves to play the guitar and piano.
